This is one sharp knife. I have 8 stitches in my left index finger to prove it. That, of course, was my fault and the result of a momentary lack of attention while slicing a loaf of ciabatta bread. But I can say with very personal authority that this knife slices cleanly and almost painlessly.

This is a complete scam. These knives are marketed extremely well towards people who are not Knife Makers or Chefs who know their stuff (I’ll start by admitting that I am one of those people, and I fell for this too.

I read all the reviews, watched the video on line, and took the plunge. I have now sharpened about every item possible and can provide an assessment. This product works and works very well. Knifes (both serrated and straight) scissors, awls and gouges all sharpen right up.

After less than a year of use this poorly made knife snapped right in half while trying to cut a turnip in half (mind you this is a Korean turnip). Good thing I use knife safety or I would have easily slit a thumb or my wrist.
Do not buy this poorly made product, it is a safety hazard.
