This is a really good quality tumbler. Feels solid and looks very good. The finish is impeccable.
The lid fits nicely - not too tight, not too loose.

I have had my Ember mug since November 2016 and absolutely love it, so I was curious about some of the 3 star and lower reviews. Upon reading these, it is clear that a number of purchasers (and potential purchasers) don’t fully understand how the mug actually works.

Counterfeit piece of junk! The rambler pictured shows the magnetic slider lid. The rambler I received shipped from China and came with a cheap piece of plastic lid with no magnetic closure. I do not believe the tumbler is even vacuum sealed as hot coffee turns cold in a matter of minutes.

Decent travel mug, but the cap can be tricky. If you don’t push down on the cap while twisting, it will leak. Also, it IS possible to open the snap seal while holding with one hand (use your thumb or index finger). Keeps drinks hot/warm for several hours.

I originally bought a RTIC tumbler strictly because it was half the price and seem to be identical to the Yeti. Once it arrived it looked great and seemed to work as advertised. However, I am a very curious person so I bought the Yeti to compare.

We’ve owned several other Contigo models and have been very pleased. This is the first time we bought one that’s not with brush aluminum finish, and I’m afraid that it will be the last. The blue paint is peeling badly with less than two months of use.

High chance of mold in the lid around and under the spring and behind the flap. Very hard to fully clean. Do extreme cleaning on this, we never noticed the hidden mold and have been sick and feeling horrible for a few weeks. It doesn’t disassemble enough to clean all the way.

I received my Yeti 20oz with Mugslider lid. Looks great, well built. But after a hour or two, coffee is cold. While driving, the coffee will leak past the lid, and proceed to drip, all over your cars interior. I was hoping for something better.
