Bought this, as it was marketed as washable. However, when I got it, the care instructions almost immediately recommend against washing at home (see pic). I have a newish, front-loading washer and dryer, and they could probably handle the blanket. But I just don’t like when companies are shady.

For the past couple years my girlfriend and I have gone through a few cheap comforters. We never really gave much thought to them and subsequently they never impressed us. I grew up using a down comforter and have very fond memories of that blanket.

It’s so fluffy! As soon as I got it I threw it in the dryer with some dryer sheets and when it came out it was fluffier than before. I threw it on my bed and my dog immediately jumped up on it and hasn’t left since. He enjoys it and so do I.

Was NOT 100% down. Unfortunately, one of my dogs chewed a hole in it and it was feathers and some pulverized fiber. It was advertised as down, said 100% down on the tag. All lies.

I bought this blanket at my husband’s suggestion. I like the weight of a lot of blankets on me, but not the resulting sauna. This blanket absolutely provides the right weighted feel for me. But it will retain a fair amount of heat; I’ve woken up a sweaty mess on more than one occasion.

I never write reviews but thought I should after buying two of these blankets! I haven’t slept through the night for almost 6 years, thanks to a difficult pregnancy and baby. It trained my body to only sleep a couple hours at a time.

This blanket is heavy. I don’t toss and turn all night anymore but It takes a few nights to get accustomed to it. well worth the money. Be aware if you fart under this it will not escape 12 hours later and that bad boy is going to sneak up on you.

UPDATE (several years later): This blanket is HOT. I loved it for the first year that I had it because it was so fluffy and toasty, and I lived in a very old, drafty apartment. But after a while I started to get way too hot sleeping under it.

I have been sleeping under electric blankets for 50 years, and this is one of the better ones I’ve gotten. Which is amazing considering how good the price was. The controls are easy to use even in the dark. You can’t push the wrong button because there is only one button - on and off.

I actually bought two of these duvets. I wanted something cool in temperature, but heavy in weight at the same time. Both arrived clean in package with no tears, rips, stains, or loose strings. Both were VERY soft to the touch.
