I purchased these for the simple fact they said heat resistant, I put them down and put my plate down which for the fact was only warm NOT even hot and this happened to my table!!!!! Contacted the seller and was told they are heat resistant up to 150 degrees, and they are sorry…..

We just purchased a formal dining room table with beautiful inlay. I really didn’t want to buy an expensive, custom pad, though. (Ninety percent of the time, I want to see that wood!) But meals mean hot, heavy serving dishes, dropped folks and knives, and overturned glasses–don’t they?

Love these. They are cute. When you have dishes on them obviously you won’t see the entire design. They held up through the holidays. Due to the material I don’t suggest washing them though.

I expected a much thicker table pad based on the product picture, but what I got was a lot thinner.
I read reviews saying it does not slip, but mine does. I have it on a solid wood dining table. My kids will do crafts and sit with their elbows on the table, and it slides around.

There pretty mats light weight and there suppose to be heat resistant however I noticed after having dinner and removing a warm plate from the mat this is what was left on my new glass table I had to use windex and a hard piece of plastic to rub off whatever that was from the mat and this happened…

There were some bad reviews that made me hesitate to buy these but I’m glad I ignored them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I really think these are very nice. It also depends on how you set up your table. They looked beautiful and very easy to clean.

Our house is small and we have a toddler. So I need things that are easy, useful, and visually attractive. This product is as described, as long as you’re reading carefully. This isn’t a runner. If you want a runner that isn’t “sectional”, make sure to look for that.

Concerning the folds many reviewers seem to complain about. They are not permanent! Iron on the felt side with appropriate heat iron using STEAM until the creases disappear. Try to keep the product flat while it is drying from the steam. Once dry, ROLL onto a cardboard tube and store.

Disappointed. Very thin. The picture I uploaded is my current table pad on the left (purchased a few years ago at Costcofor about $10 more than this one.); this pad is on the right. As you can see from the pic, this pad is MUCH thinner. I would not trust it to protect my new table from heat.

This is such a great idea. I wish I would have known about these sooner. We used them today and they did a great job protecting our countertops. I used them on our island and placed casseroles and pits directly on them. They don’t slide around like trivets do.

These say “heat resistant” in the description. I just got a brand new dining room table that is now ruined because these are not heat resistant. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to ruin their table thinking they are heat resistant.

False advertising! Does not match the picture!
The picture makes it look like it would be close to 1/4" thick, but the item that arrived was about 1/16".
It is just a very basic padded vinyl, which I could have bought at a local cloth shop for a whole lot less money.

I take all my meals at my dining table. Thanks to these mats - I place platters of food and dinner plates on the table without damaging the wood. Since I have been using these mats I observe that I no longer see the rings that appeared on my table from heat and condensation.
