I have two of these. The one with date code 0915 has been in use in my office as a mug warmer and, later in the day, as a coaster for cold drinks. I really liked having something to keep my coffee warm in the mornings.
Recently I came into the office in the morning to a strong burning electrical smell.

I was sold by the fact that this collection was hand-made in the US. The design is lovely, the plates themselves are very nice but these items are made in China, which for me detracts from the the whole idea of buying local, supporting an artist and enjoying something hand made.

I received this Mug Warmer which I ordered from Amazon and it was in perfect condition, clean, nothing seemed to be wrong. I first used it at my workplace and in the first day it was just perfect and I was talking to my colleagues about it. They very much liked how it looked.

I recently purchased a set from Coffee Joulies, and had really high hopes. PCM technology has vastly improved home insulation and other areas, and I was excited to have this technology work for my morning coffee. To start off, I read all the directions and used them as directed, and I never add cream.

What a disappointment. I got this for my adult son, who was, at first, thrilled with it. Pour in the hot water, make the Tardis sound and watch it disappear and reappear on the other side of the mug. Do it only once, never again….

These are a bit thin. They look great, great size, but whoa I’m kind of afraid to wash them. We’ll see how they hold up.
*edit/update these guys have been holding up well and we use them everyday. So far good in the dishwasher. I just honestly can not tell of they are actually glass?? They really seem like plastic.

It is cheap; that may be its only positive feature. I went by the so many positive reviews, but in the end, I was misled. I don’t know why people liked it so much. There were three issues that I encountered. 1) It is not powerful enough. Other similar products have more power. This affects how warm it will keep your beverage.

On the 4th time I used this mug I tried to make tea. I poured hot water, not even boiling just hot, against a teabag into this mug and it shattered into three pieces. I thought this mug was capable of holding hot drinks as well as cold but I guess not. It’s beautiful but I dont reccomend spending the money on a mug that won’t last a week.

the warmer works best with the supplied FLAT bottom mug. Unfortunately the mug I received came with a “rust type looking ring” on the inside of the mug. I thought it was cosmetic, so I tried it…….not the case, the taste of my drink was off. If you don’t have a flat bottom mug, I would not buy this.
