False represented !!! lodge says made in America but in the small print this product is made in china. Their enameled stuff is all china made trash. If I wanted china made trash I would not have paid more for what was represented as made in America .

So, I’m a chef. I bought this product with high hopes. Cuisinart is a great brand, and has been for years. The pots and pans themselves are great. The stainless steel is of very decent quality. However… the rivets that they used to attach the handles onto the cookware are made of cheap crap.

This weekend, under normal use, while on a pan of simmering pasta, I went to pick up the lid and the handle came off in my hand and the glass lied exploded. I had shards of glass in my hand, all over my kitchen, and who know how long I’ll be finding them.

Although I’ve had this product for over 6 months I have only I’d it a handful of times. I had it on medium heat for about 5 minutes on the stove top with gas and put in some sort ribs to brown before added liquid to braise in the oven and the enamel coating exploded off the side all over the meat.

If you like FLAMES with your chili - this is the pot for you. Seriously, the paint melted to my stovetop and caused a fire. My husband and I received this as a wedding gift and have used it around 5 times to make different things.

This product advertises that nothing will stick to the pan, they show on TV the cook just frying eggs without any oil or butter and the eggs just slide off the pan. Well its a LIE, the first thing I tried were eggs, guess what… they STUCK TO THE PAN, I even turn the pan upside down and the eggs did not fall off.

My wife bought this thing at Sears for me as a present. She spent around $80 on it. For that amount of money I expected a great pan, but that is not what I got. For a while this pan did what it was supposed to and I was really impressed. After just weeks of heavy use the pan is worthless!
