I expected a much thicker table pad based on the product picture, but what I got was a lot thinner.
I read reviews saying it does not slip, but mine does. I have it on a solid wood dining table. My kids will do crafts and sit with their elbows on the table, and it slides around. I’m constantly having to shift it back in place.

Disappointed. Very thin. The picture I uploaded is my current table pad on the left (purchased a few years ago at Costcofor about $10 more than this one.); this pad is on the right. As you can see from the pic, this pad is MUCH thinner. I would not trust it to protect my new table from heat.

These say “heat resistant” in the description. I just got a brand new dining room table that is now ruined because these are not heat resistant. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to ruin their table thinking they are heat resistant.

False advertising! Does not match the picture!
The picture makes it look like it would be close to 1/4" thick, but the item that arrived was about 1/16".
It is just a very basic padded vinyl, which I could have bought at a local cloth shop for a whole lot less money.

These are gorgeous however they’re super thin and don’t protect your table from messes. Any little thing you spill goes straight through the mat. I think these serve as decoration purposes only.

These placemats were cut wonky. They had the look of woven fabric that is unraveling, and in other areas the weave looked stretched.
The table runner and placemats arrived tightly rolled up and would not flatten!

These placemats damaged my dining table. I bought placemats to do the exact opposite but these left discoloration marks in the shape of plates/bowls where we sat and used them with warm plates/bowls during mealtime. My table is brand new and ruined already in less than one month.

They are very nice looking. They have an almost 3D look to them. BUT, they really are a weave. I mistakenly thought the weave was a pattern in SOLID vinyl, that would have made them much easier to clean.
When you spill liquid on them the spill goes right through to the table.

Do not buy this if you’re looking for an absorbent coaster. I purchased these because they clearly state that they are absorbent coasters. After receiving today and putting an iced drink on the coaster, the liquid pools on top of the coaster and is not absorbed whatsoever. I picked the coaster up and the pooled water on the top spilled everywhere.

Not Heavy Duty! I don’t know where they get this information, it’s not written anywhere in the product package card. It’s thin, I mean paper thin. It’s very wrinkled, won’t lay flat, moves all over the place. I will keep it only because it fits my 12 ft table, I will invest in a thicker the table cloth instead.

This is a good product made bad by poor packaging. The creases from folding the pad for shipment that so many reviews here mentioned are not just minor creases that relax with laying the pad out for a while.

Updating reviewing after owning for a few months and after a couple months of use, these stain so easily and the stains do not come out. We’ve bleached, oxy cleaned, magic erasered. I do not recommend if you have children because they will stain.
